Floating button over other natives like map or video player...
Hello,
based on our customer orders, we used many ANEs like native map and video player... on our products. the most problem using these anes is that they always stay on top of the stage and you cannot create any button or floating objects on them.
If you can create a native extension that takes a bitmap and mouseEvent listener to create a floating objects on top of them, it will be perfect!Good luck!

Native MP3 encoder
We have (and I think many other) voice recording and keeping files into application. Raw voice files are just to big and encoding in AS3 is just too slow, just like an image encoding. There should be lame mp3 encoder similar to image encoding.

Ambient light sensor
It would be nice to have access to the ambient light sensor so that we can adjust the app interface according to the outside light. It can be useful for navigation apps, where "night mode" with dark interface gives a better user experience in low light conditions.

Don't let Parse ANE die
Althow Parse is almost over, there's a few Parse Server services available like https://www.nodechef.com/parse-server
Maybe just making the Parse ANE able to point to a different server will bring us joy again! ;-)3 votesHi,
We have created a new build based off a custom implementation that will be able to talk to custom Parse server installs.
Hopefully this change will be all that’s required to continue using Parse in your AIR applications!

create a ANE for the low latency Sound on Android
Adobe AIR Sound implementation on Android suffers horrible lag problems 400-600+ms, . It works OK when a first sound is played , but if there are subsequent sounds following it, they all have a terrible lag. (Imagine virtual piano application..)
There are now some free low sound latency java libraries available with SDK, so writting this extension for an experienced developers such as yourselves shouldn't be a big issue!

Game Controller Support for iOS
Support MFi Game Controllers for iOS:

If you have any recommendations as to what test devices we should be using that would be greatly appreciated.

A MIDI ANE that allows access to and use of the standard General MIDI instruments and ability to play MIDI files
MIDI is a well entrenched standard for music and other uses. The ability to create and playback MIDI files with General MIDI instruments would be great for music in games, music apps etc. without having to package in wav/mp3 files or build synths.

Rescan Media
Some Android Tablets won't allow for us to open a file because the system needs to scan the file/folder. For example, if I download a new APK it may popup with a PARSE ERROR when I try to install the new APK (I have a separate ANE that will open any file on Android with the default application).
Rescan(f:File, callback); would be all that is necessary IMO.
It would be imporant to include the default configuration so it will fail safe for iOS/Windows/OSX.

Add new AD platforms (TapJoy and ChartBoost)
I use popular AD platforms for my AIR game. But they have deprecated support of AIR in their SDKs.
Tapjoy dont' support AIR platform since last month https://dev.tapjoy.com/sdk-integration/air/
The same situation with ChartBoost SDK since last year https://answers.chartboost.com/en-us/child_article/adobe-air-plugin .
May be you can support their SDKs for AIR platform?

It would be great if we could have an ANE (if possible) to integrate the Lottie Library. It is an awesome way to add animations to apps.

Native Emoji Solution
AIR apps can't disable Emoji soft keyboards, and when the user enters Emoji's they display fine in the Stage text input field, but once saved, can't be displayed in non Stage based controls like Label, and the Emoji character set are different between Android and iOS. How do cross platform native apps deal with showing the same Emoji an iOS user entered on an Android device? Some type of overall Emoji solution would be amazing for us. We currently license 5 of your ANEs and they are really great. Keep up the excellent work.

There is point sdk (android & ios) from https://bluedotinnovation.com/ which has more accuracy and less battery drain also similar free sdk from Radar https://www.onradar.com/
