Native Media Player iOS Playlist Access
An ANE which can access the native iOS media player including any playlists allowing for basic control (play, pause, skip track etc). I.e the ANE controls the built in media player rather then playing back locally specified files.

I have a friend that just made an ios app that can import all the playlist names from the native music app (ios9.3), load one and pause /play it, skip track etc. Looking for an ANE for similar functionality...

Hi, I was just looking around for an ANE to allow me to see all playlists on an iOS device and then select once of them for playback within my app. Found NOTHING out there - I think this suggestions is the same thing that I'm looking for though.....

Exactly.
In an app you would be able to control the native media player in the background through MPRemoteCommandCenter to play the current track, skip a track, pause it etc.
Ideally you would be able to view the name of the current track playing and select a new playlist for playback (but I can't see this functionality under MPRemoteCommandCenter)...
There are many apps out there at the moment that make use of this functionality such as CoPilot GPS and DJ Mixer 3.

Thanks for the suggestion.
Do you have any references to exactly the functionality you are talking about here?
Do you mean accessing the MPRemoteCommandCenter?
