Mac OSX and Windows support for ANE WebView
It would be very nice if the ANE WebView would also work on Mac OSX and Windows by supporting one of the most current webkit releases so that HTM5 websites are loaded correctly and DOM can be altered
We have launched a kickstarter campaign to be able to fund the development of this addition to the web view ANE.
We are really excited to be able to bring a stable and well built WebView ANE that will give you access to the latest features on macOS and Windows.
We would really appreciate your support:
I saw that your kickstarter was not funded (perhaps you put your $xpectations to high).
I tried the first alternative opensource (that all of us know very well) but did not worked for me (using Flex on a macOS) and the developer don't have time right now the check this issue.
So, I would like to buy your ANE if/when available and if until then this alternative ANE don't work.
Do you continue to develope this ANE or you drop the idea ?
Small update on the kickstarter as to why we are kickstarting this addition:

I send my vote to have it ANE for PC/MAC
Bug fixes like keeping an youtube video inside the webview while rotating the webview is also something that we are very interested in.
Yes,it is really useful, in our team,we use swf content and html content, but H5 is not support very well
in current webkit. we choose air ,but in some case we must use H5, current Webkit is so poor. if your team have this one, we will sure buy it ,haha....
i suggest use chrome in Ane , it faster and H5 works well.
Definitely useful! I passed 5 projects on Windows till now cause of the outdated webkit.

I get a message, "Could not submit my vote". Add +1 to this. The AIR webkit is very old. Many sites are not showing SVG or data uri images. This problem will only get worse as new websites use more of these HTML5 features. Need desktop and mobile solution.
This would be very useful! The current webkit is outdated and slow, and an upgrade for desktop too would be great. Please add this.
